What’s YOUR Story?

You’ve lived an EXTRAORDINARY life! It’s time to tell those stories, adventures, and life lessons with your words, in your voice. Because…. You lived it your way.

TELL IT YOUR WAY!

In your voice….

I can’t emphasize enough, how important and meaningful it is to share these rich stories in your own voice, laden with natural emotions that flow as you tell them. The written word is precious and meaningful too because it’s also something to pass on and share with the family for generations to come. If you need help with writing your book, I can help with that too.

My own dear mother passed away just a few months from turning 100. She spent the last year of her life in a care home after falling in the bathroom and no longer being able to live independently. That’s right! She was fiercely independent and lived on her own, without any assistance, for 33 years after dad passed away in his sixties.

As you can imagine, growing up in the Great Depression and having a hard life, she had lots of stories to tell! All kinds of stories! Those stories helped shape me and my character when growing up. When I experienced hard times, I’d think back to what she went through and survived in much tougher situations. Through her stories and the sharing of history, I was empowered to believe that I would survive this “hard thing” too. Her stories taught me to be resourceful, independent, tough, creative, kind, and compassionate.

How do you want to be remembered?

My biggest regret is that I didn’t get her stories, recorded in her voice, before she passed away. I thought we had more time… All the history and rich stories died with her. My own children and, eventually grandchildren, with never know them like I did.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Gather your notes and photos. Make lists about what you want to share in your Life Stories video.

Think about who might benefit from the history, stories, and wisdom you have to share. They might not being paying attention now… But, the days will come in the years ahead when they ask “What would _(you)__ do?” just as you wished you could have asked your mentors long after they too were gone.

Ask yourself “why” it’s important to share your Life Stories as this will help you find the right words and storytelling perspectives that will resonate with your intended audience.

We help you orchestrate the process and then we get the microphone and cameras going to create your very own Life Stories movie.

WHERE AND HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE?

This is a four-week package designed to give you clarity, organization, and direction needed to achieve the most with your finished video(s). Each weekly in-person session lasts 90 minutes.
